Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs the subscription plans purchased through the ReviewMonk platform ("Service"). We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and provide the terms under which a refund may be granted.

This policy is to be read in conjunction with the ReviewMonk Terms of Service.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

To comply with our payment partner requirements and demonstrate our confidence in the Service, ReviewMonk offers a **14-Day Money-Back Guarantee** on all initial purchases of a paid monthly or annual subscription plan.

  1. Eligibility: This guarantee is strictly for **new customers** making their first-ever purchase of a paid subscription (Zen, Tranquil, or Enlightened).
  2. Timeframe: A refund request must be submitted via email to support@reviewmonk.dev within **fourteen (14) calendar days** of the original subscription purchase date.
  3. Effect of Refund: Upon confirmation and processing of a refund, access to the paid features of the ReviewMonk Service will be immediately terminated.

2. Exclusions and Non-Refundable Charges

The 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee and general refund policy **do not apply** to the following:

  1. Subscription Renewals: Payments made for the automatic renewal of any monthly or annual subscription are non-refundable. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time to prevent future charges.
  2. Plan Changes: Payments made for upgrading or downgrading an existing subscription plan.
  3. Account Termination for Breach: If your account is terminated by ReviewMonk due to a violation of the Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.
  4. Used Services: Refunds will not be granted simply for unused reviews or features within a billing cycle.

3. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your ReviewMonk workspace dashboard.

  1. Effect: Cancellation stops future billing. Your access to the paid features will continue until the end of the current billing cycle (as noted in the Terms of Service).
  2. No Pro-Rata Refund: Cancellation mid-cycle does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining unused portion of that current monthly or annual billing cycle.

4. How to Request a Refund

To submit an eligible refund request under the 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee, please email our support team at support@reviewmonk.dev with the subject line **"Refund Request - [Your Account Email]"**.

Please include the following information in your email:

  1. The email address associated with your ReviewMonk account.
  2. The date of the initial subscription purchase.
  3. A brief reason for the refund request.

We aim to process eligible refunds within ten (10) business days. The refund will be applied to the original payment method.

5. Discretionary Refunds

As noted in our Terms of Service, refunds outside of the 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee are at the sole discretion of the ReviewMonk team. Such requests must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
